Notifications & emails

Every notification we send

A complete list of what Getwello sends, when, and to whom.

Getwello sends notifications across two channels: in the app (your Notifications inbox) and by email. You can turn either off in Settings → Notifications.

Mobile push notifications will be added when our iOS and Android apps are released.

Daily check-in

  • Check-in submitted — to Coordinators and Support Members. "Mum is well today".
  • Check-in missed (reminder to the member) — a kind nudge to the Check-in Member to tap the button.
  • Check-in missed (Coordinator alert) — to all Coordinators when a day passes the missed-check-in threshold.
  • Check-in escalated — to all Support Members when the escalation timer also passes.

Visits

  • Visit added — to everyone in the Circle except the person who added it.
  • Visit updated — same recipients, when a visit's time or notes change.
  • Visit removed — same recipients, when a visit is deleted.
  • Gap detected — to Coordinators and Support Members, at most once per gap, when two or more empty days are coming up.

Members

  • Invite to a Circle — a personal email to the invited person, with a link to accept.
  • Invite reminder — when a Coordinator clicks "Resend" on a pending invite.
  • Member joined — to Coordinators when someone accepts an invite.
  • Password reset — to the user themselves, either initiated by them on the login page or by a Coordinator on the Circle page.

Account & billing

  • Email confirmation — when you sign up.
  • Payment failed — to all Coordinators if Stripe couldn't take a payment, with a link to update the card.
  • Subscription cancelled — to all Coordinators when a subscription is cancelled, with the date access ends.

Support

  • Ticket reply — to the customer when Getwello support replies to a ticket they've submitted.

Service-wide

  • Announcements — occasional emails or in-app notifications from the Getwello team about scheduled maintenance or important changes. Always relevant, never marketing.
