Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and GetWello ("we", "us", "our") and apply when you use our website and app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

GetWello is a tool to help families coordinate care for a loved one. It is not a medical service, an emergency service, a monitoring service, or a substitute for professional care.

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or in need of urgent medical help, call the emergency services on 999 (UK) or 112 (Ireland and EU). Do not rely on GetWello to raise alerts in an emergency.

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for anything that happens on your account. Please notify us as soon as possible if you think your account has been compromised.

Accounts are for individuals. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are setting up GetWello on behalf of a family member, please make sure they are happy for you to do so.

You agree not to:

• Use GetWello to harass, intimidate, or harm anyone.
• Add a person to a Circle without their consent, or impersonate someone else.
• Try to disrupt the service, get around our security, or scrape our data.
• Use GetWello for anything illegal.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. We will give you reasonable notice unless we need to act immediately to protect the service or its users.

You keep ownership of the content you put into GetWello (Circle names, visit notes, and so on). You give us a limited licence to store, display, and process that content for the purpose of running the service for you and your Circle.

We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using GetWello you agree to that processing.

We aim to keep GetWello running smoothly but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may update, change, or temporarily withdraw parts of the service to fix issues, improve features, or for maintenance.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any loss or damage arising out of your use of GetWello is limited. We do not limit liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

We are not liable for any harm caused by reliance on the service in an emergency. Please re-read the section above titled "What GetWello is for".

You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@getwello.co.uk. We will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep it longer by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will let you know by email and update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
