Reminders that actually get done.
Set a reminder for your loved one, tablets at 4pm, a GP appointment on Tuesday, and it rings on their phone. They tap one big Done button. You see it's done, and you're told if it isn't.
Included in the £4.99/month family plan. No premium tier.
You set it once. The rest takes care of itself.
No new habit for your loved one to learn, and no chasing from you. Here's an ordinary Tuesday.
Tablets at 4pm
- 4:00pmIt rings on Mum's phone
A big, plain card: “Take your tablets” and one Done button. Set to ring until done, so it sounds an alarm through silent mode.
- 4:02pmMum taps Done
That is the whole thing for her. One tap on one button, the same as her daily check-in.
- 4:02pmYou see it's done
A quiet “Mum marked her tablets as done” lands on your phone. No need to ring and ask.
- If notA gentle nudge, only if needed
No Done by 4:30pm and the family gets a calm heads-up to check in. Silence is good news.
A reminder is only useful if you know it happened.
Most reminder apps stop at the buzz. Getwello closes the loop, so the worry actually lifts.
They tap Done
One big button on a plain card. That's the whole interaction for your loved one.
You see it's done
A quiet 'marked as done' lands with the family, and it's there on the Reminders screen to check back on.
Told only if it's missed
If Done isn't tapped within the time you set, the family gets a gentle nudge. Otherwise, silence is good news.
One tap for them. One clear screen for you.
They get a large, plain card with a single Done button, the same one-tap world as the daily check-in, with bigger text and no menus. You set reminders and see what's been done from your phone, tablet or laptop.
The small things that are easy to forget.

Helpful, never naggy.
- You choose whether each reminder rings or stays quiet.
- You choose whether the family is told when one is missed.
- Switch any reminder off in a tap; it stops without losing the history.
- Reminders go off at your loved one's local time, not the server's.
Reminders FAQ
Who can set a reminder?↓
Any Coordinator or Support Member in the Circle. The person being reminded, the Check-in Member, just sees the reminder go off and taps Done. They don't have to set anything up themselves.
Will it actually ring, or is it just a notification?↓
It rings. For important reminders like medication you can turn on 'Ring until done', which sounds an alarm on their phone rather than a quiet banner. Gentler reminders can be a normal notification.
What time does it go off?↓
Always at your loved one's local time. Set '4pm' and it fires at 4pm where they are, handling the UK clock change automatically.
How do I know they've done it?↓
When they tap Done, the family gets a quiet 'marked as done'. If they don't tap Done within the time you choose (30 minutes by default), the family gets a gentle heads-up so someone can check in.
Can I set a reminder to repeat?↓
Yes. A reminder can be a one-off (a GP appointment next Tuesday), every day (tablets at 4pm), or on certain days of the week.
Does it cost extra?↓
No. Reminders are included in the £4.99 per month Getwello family plan. There is no premium tier.

Before GetWello, our family WhatsApp was constant confusion about who'd seen Dad and when. Now everyone can see the plan instantly. It's removed so much stress.
Mum only has to press one button each morning, which means she actually uses it. The simplicity is what makes it brilliant.
The missed check-in alerts are gentle rather than alarming, which we really appreciate. It gives us peace of mind without making everything feel medical.
I live three hours away from my nan, and this app helps me feel connected without constantly worrying. I can quickly see she's checked in and who's visiting.

The best thing is that everyone finally shares the responsibility. It's no longer all falling on one sibling.
My dad is not good with technology at all, but he understood GetWello immediately. That says everything.
Such a thoughtful app. Calm design, no unnecessary noise, and genuinely useful for coordinating care as a family.
The coverage gap reminders have stopped those awkward moments where nobody realised Mum would be alone for three days.
£4.99 for the whole family is honestly a bargain considering how much mental load it removes.
You can tell this was built by people who understand real family dynamics, not just software.
We started using it after Dad's fall last year, and it's become part of our daily routine. Simple, reassuring, and easy for everyone.
