What happens when a reminder is missed

How the Done loop works, and when the family is told a reminder wasn't acknowledged.

When a reminder goes off, your loved one taps Done once they've sorted it. That tap is recorded, and the family can see the reminder was done.

If you turned on Tell me if it's missed, and they haven't tapped Done within the time you chose (30 minutes by default), the family gets a quiet notification so someone can check in or give them a call. There's no alarm at your end and nothing dramatic, just a gentle nudge.

You can switch any reminder off or delete it at any time from the Reminders screen. Turning it off stops it going off again; it does not delete the history of what was done.
